All of our employees have had multiple screenings for criminal background records, have fabulous personalities and morals and have a passion for working with children.

Brooke has been involved in the Early Childhood Field since 2000. For 3 years she worked as an Assistant Teacher then was promoted to a Lead Teacher where for 6 years she taught toddlers and preschoolers. Brooke then became an Early Childhood Program Director and has 6+ years of experience running a large center that accommodated over 200 children and 36 employees. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Administration, an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies, and a Childhood Development Specialist Certificate with the main focus of infant & toddler development that was earned as she became the first person in the State of Michigan to complete a Child Development Apprenticeship. Brooke coached preschool gymnastics for 2 years and also has “mommy” experience. She worked with Troy Gymnastics for over a year before the center opened to develop and create TGPD as well as the curriculum for the daycare and preschool programs. In addition, Brooke is certified to teach CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Child and Babysitting Safety courses.
Megan has a bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Michigan State University. She has experience with a variety of different types of early childhood curriculum and activities. Megan has been working in early childhood field since 2007 and has worked as an assistant and lead teacher of preschool age children. She was also a Program Director of a new center in Texas and helped them create their policies and program. Her hobbies are spending time with her husband, daughter, friends, and family, doing craft projects, and reading.
Jessica is currently attending college at Oakland University. She is working towards a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education specializing in Language Arts. Post-graduation she hopes to be able to teach grades kindergarten through third grade. She coached at Troy Gymnastics for 3 years previously before working at TGPD. Working with children has always been her passion and she loves watching them grow.
Corina's passion has always been in child care. She has babysat since 1999 and has been in a professional child care setting since 2008. She has over 5,000 hours working in the early childhood field and has completed 90 hours of continuing education units in child development. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her many nieces and nephews. She also worked as a nanny of preschool age twins and their school age sister on the weekends and as an office staff and coach for Troy Gymnastics.
Mary graduated from Auburn University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies. All throughout college she worked primarily with children with disabilities, providing different methods of emotional, occupational, and physical therapy; however, after graduating, she changed directions and worked to become a Flight Attendant. It did not take long for her to realize that her love for working with children far surpassed her wanderlust. Immediately after quitting her job working for the airline industry, she received a job working at a daycare as both an assistant teacher and then as a lead teacher. She has since fallen in love with early childhood education and looks forward to teaching these children as much as much as they teach her.
Kat loves working with kids and has many experience hours with younger cousins, and was a nanny for a family for about a year. She has studied Elementary Education at Oakland University with a minor in Early Childhood Education as well as Language Arts, and is now attending Macomb Community College for a degree in Early Childhood Development. Outside of childcare, she loves to spend her time outside, dancing, and traveling. She is very excited to work with your children here at TGPD.
Mrs. Jessyca graduated from the University of Cincinnati with her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked in this field for a few years as both an assistant and lead teacher with many different ages of children. She enjoys working with children and watching them grow in their education. She enjoys exercising, spending time with friends and family, and loves anything Disney.
Megan has a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working as a preschool teacher since 1997. She has worked with many state funded programs helping a diverse range of children and families. She is also a mother of three. Her hobbies are reading and card-making, which inspire her to share her favorite books and art activities with her class.
Kristen has over 10 years experience working with children. She’s taught Kinder Ready programs, Pre-K and Preschool. She also worked at the YMCA Camp Copneconic as a Resident Camp Counselor, Sports Director, Logistics Coordinator and Outdoor Education Instructor. She has an Associate of Arts degree, has completed college courses in Early Childhood Education and plans on continuing her education in business.
Joshua graduated from Hazel Park High School in 2007 and worked as an assistant teacher in a daycare for a few years before enlisting in the army. While in the army he was stationed in Alaska where he volunteered at an elementary school for a year. Joshua is currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. In his spare time, he coaches soccer in Hazel Park. He is an amazing teacher and our students absolutely love having a male role model in the classroom.
Caelan is currently attending Macomb Community College. She recently switched her plans to graduate with a degree in the medical field, to working towards a degree in Early Childhood. Caelan has been a summer nanny for a family with twin girls and truly loves working with children of all ages. She is excited to further her career here at TGPD.
Jillian is currently a junior at Oakland University and is studying Communications. She has been coaching at Troy Gymnastics since 2013. She was a gymnast most of her life so being able to coach young gymnasts was an amazing opportunity for her. Jillian is a team coach for the Trampoline and Tumbling group and has coached for other programs as well! She enjoys spending time with friends and family and loves to travel. Jillian loves working with children and is excited to be working with TGPD!
Skylar graduated from L'Anse Creuse High School in 2014 where she took two child development classes and was part of a hands on early childhood preschool at a vocational school. She has been a nanny and babysitter for many families. Skylar plans on going to college to gain more knowledge in the professional child care and preschool setting.
Lauren has the biggest smile and heart, which makes her perfect to work with the different classrooms at our center. She has been with Troy Gymnastics since 2013 and is also a coach in Preschool, Rec, and TNT gymnastics, as well as a part of our office staff. She has over a decade of experience volunteering with preschool and elementary school age children at her church. She is a proud alumna of The University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Screen Arts and Cultures, and is currently back in school at Oakland Community College pursuing a career in writing and producing Children's Music.
Dani loves working with children of all ages because she gets to see them grow and discover new and exciting things. Children need a safe and happy learning environment and that is what she strives for. Her goal is to instill a love for learning and life in each child. She has always aspired to be a teacher and that is where her education lies, She has a bachelor's in elementary education with a math major and a reading minor. Dani is looking forward to all of the joys that come with working with children.
Cassandra's experience with children started at home with her little sisters. During this life experience, she realized the love she had for children. She enjoyed every moment; from teaching them to crawl, and then walk, then run. Before TGPD, she took on a position for a family as a nanny. Teaching the children the fundamentals of life and getting down on their level to look at everything as a surprise or discover something new, is her favorite part about teaching. She is beyond excited to work for TGPD!
Nicole's passion is working with children. She loves watching them learn and grow, and that is why she loves this job so much. She currently teachers toddler dance classes here at Troy Gymnastics and also taught beginners gymnastics. She loves TGPD and we are honored to have her on our teaching team.
Donna is the mom of 3 grown boys and has 2 grandchildren. She worked in health care for over 30 years, as well as in a kids care clinic as a medical assistant. Donna has also worked with elementary, middle, and high school students in the Chippewa Valley School District. She often teaches religion to K-1 students at her church and volunteers at her local elementary school.
Jennifer is a passionate pre-social work student at Macomb Community
College working towards a bachelors degree in social work at Wayne State University. After pursuing the degree that she's working for, she plans to be a full time social worker for all ages, children to young adults.

Lisa began her college career double majoring in Early Childhood Education and Photographic Technologies. She has since obtained an Associate's Degree in Photographic Technologies and added Design and Layout. Her passions are centered in loving others, and using her gifts,talents, and experience to bring joy to those around her. Since 2010, this has been through photography, where she has photographed many people in different stages of life. Her favorite, by far, is working with children. Lisa has experience working with children that includes leading groups of preschool-aged children during summer Vacation Bible School, volunteering in both Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms, as well as being a weekly volunteer at a school library working primarily with lower elementary aged children. She has one little boy that has blessed her with the title "Mom". Watching and being a part of helping him grow and develop has been one of her greatest joys in life. She looks forward to gaining valuable experience being a part of your child's growth at TGPD as they discover, explore and learn about the world around them.
Lisa graduated from Baker College with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and also has training with working with children with autism. She has two children of her own at home and loves spending time with them. In her spare time she loves to go shopping and also has a passion for reading. She is looking forward to being a part of our TGPD family and can't wait to watch the children learn and grow.
Krissy is a graduate from Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She has been working with children for over ten years as a caregiver and teacher. It melts her heart when she sees progress, little or big, from children knowing that she had a small part of that growth. She currently is attending Oakland University to obtain an M.Ed in Special Education, and works as a behavior technician for children with ASD. She has a passion for cheer and gymnastics which has lead her to be a team coach for Tumbling and Trampoline, as well as a coach for parent-tot classes at TG2. She loves to travel, hike, workout, and spend time with her family.
Olivia is a 2015 graduate of Notre Dame Preparatory school and is currently attending Central Michigan University. She is pursuing a degree in exercise science with a minor in nutrition and hopes to use her degree to become a physical therapist working with children. In her free time she is a cheerleader at CMU, a research assistant, and a tutor for other students. Olivia has worked as a coach at Troy Gymnastics for over three years, and loves coaching children of all ages. We are always excited to have her come back in the summer!
Sam currently graduated Oakland Community College with an Associates in General Studies and is attending Grand Valley State University in the
fall. She will be studying Early Childhood Education. Sam has been
working with kids as long as she can remember, always went and helped
out in her moms classroom. During the summer Sam works at a sleep away camp and was a counselor for kids ages 6-14 and this summer will be supervisor of the 6-8 year old girls. During her free time Sam loves to
travel, hang out with friends/family, and babysit. Sam absolutely loves
working with kids and just being around them and can’t wait to work
with your kids at TGPD!
Kelsey is currently in school and will be finishing her Bachelors in Early Childhood this Fall. She loves kids and loves working with them. She believes that she learns as much from the children as they learn from her. She will be subbing on and off for TGPD and is very excited to be a part of the TGPD family.
Jessica has spent countless hours volunteering at her church in the Kids Klub and at her local elementary school with the Early Childhood Special Education program. She went to school for both Speech Pathology and Early Childhood Development locally and is currently going to Michigan State for Special Education and Learning Disabilities. Jessica has also been involved with coaching a youth cheer team and gymnastics classes and at our very own Troy Gymnastics.
Toby and Julie Buechner are the active owners and operators of Troy Gymnastics as well as Tiny Geniuses Preschool and Daycare. Toby is a Birmingham Seaholm Alumni and Julie is a Bloomfield Alumni; both were collegiate athletes and enjoy tennis and skiing as well as many other sports. As well as having their hands full with three buildings, they also have three girls at home who participate in several activities including; Gymnastics, Soccer, Tennis, Choir and Skiing. Toby and Julie are very hardworking, good hearted, down to earth people who have an unmeasurable love for their family, business, staff and customers. They could not be happier and more excited to begin this new adventure of daycare!
Cindy works at Troy Gymnastics as the Office Director and will be helping occasionally in the office where TGPD is located. She has 20+ years of experience in gymnastics office management. She's been a part of TG since almost the beginning. You'll see her in the office in the mornings and she will gladly help with your daycare questions.
Tracy is the Director of Operations for Troy Gymnastics and has played a large part in the design and growth of Troy Gymnastics' three gyms and TGPD. Tracy is a former J.O. Gymnast, former NAWGJ Judge, Choreographer, Dancer of 15 years, a coach for 30+ years, and is a mother of 2 daughters. Tracy has helped Brooke a lot with the design of TGPD, and has also helped with all of TGPD's inspections.
